Plan helps provide an income (up to 60% of an employee's monthly income) for employees when a covered accident or illness keeps them away from work for an extended time, whether they're at home or in the hospital.

• Covers total disability due to covered accident or illness, at home or in the hospital.
• Several elimination periods available - from seven to 365 days.
• Several benefit period options - from three months to five years.
• Monthly disability benefits are paid beginning the day following satisfaction of elimination period.

Optional benefit riders available on a group basis include: accident (protects employees and families against the financial consequences resulting from accidents and accidental loss of life) and cancer (provides a basic benefit for cancer diagnosed after the policy is in force).
