Who we are.
AHA Solutions, Inc. is a for-profit subsidiary of the American Hospital Association. Our job is to “cut through the clutter” for AHA members by finding products and services that efficiently and effectively satisfy a hospital’s core operating needs. These high-quality products and services – provided by vendors that pass our tests for flexibility, stability, and customer service – are awarded the AHA endorsement.
What is a "Solution"?
In three areas - Revenue Cycle Management, Employee Benefits, and Information Technology – we’ve bundled multiple, complementary products and services into “solutions” that deliver “extra” value to the hospital. Each solution reflects our deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing hospitals today. Behind each solution is an advisory committee of health care leaders with solution-specific expertise and experience. Health care organizations that select AHA-endorsed products support the American Hospital Association’s efforts on behalf of the nation’s hospitals.

How we work.
We have a single purpose: to find products and services that help hospitals run better. Our search begins with our knowledge of hospitals. In fact, our business depends on understanding the issues you face in doing your job, day in and day out. Our solutions are relevant and practical because we follow a methodology both thorough and timely.
First, we listen. We interview executives, management, and directors from hospitals, large and small, all over the United States – beginning with an advisory committee specifically qualified to address various heathcare issues of interest to hospitals.
Second, we research. We investigate an issue from many points of view: hospital administrators and employees; healthcare consultants and academics; investors and futurists; policy makers and regulatory agencies.
Third, we evaluate. We assess candidate products and services - and their vendors – along multiple, measurable criteria, including the opinions of peers and customers. Which ones make the grade? Those that, together or stand-alone, help hospitals run better.
Fourth, we synthesize. We group products and services into solutions – a bigger view of a problem and its possible resolutions. Within a solution, each product and service has passed our test for quality; each vendor has met our criteria for flexibility, stability, and customer service. Yet, together, the products or services gain in value, as they complement each other in the achievement of a “whole” that is greater than the sum of its parts. That’s the synergy of an AHA solution.
Fifth, we connect. We share our knowledge of hospitals with solution vendors, and vice versa. In this way, the vendor has a deeper understanding of the “fit” of its product or service in your hospital’s environment; and you have the peace of mind that comes from choosing a product or service that’s endorsed by the AHA.

American Hospital Association Solutions, Inc. is compensated for use of the AHA marks and for its assistance in marketing endorsed products and services. By agreement, pricing of endorsed products and services may not be increased by the providers to reflect fees paid to the AHA.
