About the Network
The National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN) is a national initiative aligning health care trade associations and professional societies with the purpose of creating a network of linked job placement, career advancement & development tools and resources.
Formally launched in April 2008, the AHA was joined by ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership, American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living representing the various trade sectors within the first year. The Network grew to more than 136 professional membership and trade organizations - representing employers and professionals from across the health care spectrum - within a year's time.
Health Care Serving Health Care is our commitment and the idea behind the NHCN. Building a resource in collaboration with the professional societies ensures only the highest quality candidates and true professionals, enabling you to place the right person in the right position.
By supporting the NHCN, you help reinvest resources back into the education and development of your workforce. At the AHA Career Center, we've established the NHCN Scholarship with the generous support from our Charter Members. In the first year we awarded $6,000 to health care students nationwide.
