Tony brings more than 20 years of business marketing experience to our team. Through a broad variety of services, AHA Solutions provides hospitals with field leadership, education and research-tools that can help them improve operational performance.
Recognizing that critical staffing issues threaten hospitals' performance and quality of care, Tony led a team to develop the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN). The NHCN aligns health care employers with more than 2.5 million highly qualified members belonging to more than 230 trade associations and professional societies.
Tony is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Health Care Compliance Association and American Society of Association Executives.
A champion of connecting health care leaders with the tools, resources and information they need to make informed decisions, Tony led the development of AHA SmartMarket, an online platform designed to connect health care professionals with their peers and experts in the field. AHA SmartMarket is expected to launch in 2014.
He serves on the Boards of AHA Solutions, AHA Services, Inc. and the AHA Investment Funds. Tony is an NASD-registered securities principal and a NASD-registered securities representative. Most recently, he launched the ProActive Kids Foundation, a private foundation to address the social, health and personal issues related to childhood obesity in local communities.
Prior to joining AHA Solutions, Tony managed financial communications for a Fortune 50 consumer product company and led a major marketing consulting firm that served businesses and professional organizations.
At California State University, Fullerton, CA, Tony earned a master's degree in Marketing.
