You probably wouldn’t buy brand-name prescription medication on the Internet, or a Rolex out of the trunk of a car. If you don’t know where something comes from – and if it seems too good to be true – chances are it’s probably not the real thing.
The same is true for background checks. Not knowing the source of screening information can create regulatory compliance headaches and have serious consequences for health care HR professionals.
