Relevant research plays an important role in the delivery of quality care — and it needs to be available to staff at the point of care or anywhere. However, health care personnel often share documents and publications without realizing they may be at risk of copyright infringement. How can you manage issues of copyright compliance, educate staff and reduce risk? How can hospitals accelerate access to copyrighted materials without getting bogged down in individual permissions requests?

Learn how clinicians, staff and administrators can ensure streamlined access to the copyrighted information they need while staying in compliance with your organization’s compliance policies around intellectual property.

In this webinar, copyright expert Diane Hummel, manager of Spectrum Health Libraries, shares how Spectrum uniquely solved this issue by providing educational resources, information, sample policy, rights look-up tools and copyright licenses to facilitate lawful sharing of copyrighted content.

Attendees Will Learn:

  • The importance of copyright compliance within your organization
  • How to create a streamlined, comprehensive copyright policy for information sharing
  • How to effectively manage copyright communications and training
