Clinical Integration: Alignment Strategies for Sustainable Success
featuring a case study by Henry Ford Health System

  • Event Date:
  • Event Time: 01:00 PM Eastern
  • Event Type: Virtual Signature Learning Series

The Accountable Care Organization (ACO) discussion has been a useful catalyst for change—encouraging hospitals and health systems to rethink how they organize and deliver care to succeed in a value-based environment. However, relatively few health care providers may be in a position to effectively evolve into ACOs in the next few years.

Hospitals and health systems can make significant advances—in quality, cost management and physician integration—by moving forward in an evolutionary manner with Clinical Integration programs. Such programs will help health care providers achieve success under value-based payment, whether or not ACOs become a longer-term reality and without assuming risk before payment models shift.

This webinar describes recent initiatives by hospitals to achieve a level of integration with physicians that appropriately aligns clinical and financial interests and discusses the progress being made at Henry Ford Health System. Specific current integration models and strategies that address frequently encountered challenges are discussed.
