Security challenges are prevalent in health care. Hospital and medical office shootings make frequent headlines and health care workers face significant risks of job-related violence that result in missed days from work. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards now require ongoing violence prevention and response training.
This webinar looks at the current health care environment and provides practical advice to prevent violence in the acute and non-acute care setting. Attendees will be given a list of resources that will allow them to incorporate the suggestions into their overall safety and health programs or assist in the creation of their violence prevention plan.
